Professional Asset Identification Services

TLSG's Professional Asset Identification Services is an individually designed program that identifies and researches numerous, targeted sources of potential unclaimed funds belonging to a qualified client.

TLSG's Professional Asset Investigation Services begins with an intensive Initial Property Identification process ("IPI") to ascertain sources of outstanding funds that appear to belong to our client. These sources include hundreds of Federal, State, City, County, US Territory and Canadian jurisdictions, many of which are exempt from state escheat laws. Additionally, TLSG identifies outstanding payments from sources where our clients' right to claim funds may be 'extinguished' by the passage of time.

The IPI is based on an analysis of our client's parent company, its acquisitions, and predecessors. This investigation includes physical locations, business lines, d/b/a's and states of incorporation. TLSG then utilizes proprietary databases and software, legal research, and public information requests to locate these unclaimed funds from the sources identified during the IPI. Based on the IPI and subsequent investigation, TLSG consolidates this information and prepares a report for our client identifying and detailing all unclaimed property that TLSG has located appearing to belong to our client. Our client may use this report to recover the identified property on its own or, if qualified for the Unclaimed Property Review program, our client may choose to retain TLSG to further assist with the recovery of these funds.
